Grading Terms & Conditions

Everything you need to know before sending your cards to Slabbys for PSA or Beckett grading.

General Terms for PSA and BGS Submissions

  • We've got you covered: Once we receive your cards, they're fully our responsibility until they're back in your hands.
  • Acting on your behalf: You're giving us the green light to handle everything with PSA and/or BGS for you, from submission to collection.
  • Insurance: We'll insure your cards for the value you list on your submission form.
  • If something goes wrong: In the unlikely event your cards are lost or badly damaged while with us, payouts will be based on either the value you declared or the current market value (whichever is lower), as determined by Slabbys.
  • Grading company rules:
  • Payment: Your invoice needs to be paid within 10 business days of us emailing it. Late payments without prior arrangement will incur a $10 late fee for each reminder sent.

PSA Submissions

  • PSA upcharges: If a card is undervalued or grades higher than expected, PSA may charge extra. Any extra charges will be passed on at full PSA rates.
  • PSA fee changes: If PSA changes prices before we submit, we'll let you know. You can choose to proceed or get your cards returned (return postage at your cost).
  • Card Saver requirement: All cards must be submitted in a Card Saver. If not, we'll transfer them for you at $2 per card. Cards 130pt or thicker can be sent in top loaders.

BGS Submissions

  • BGS fee changes: Any value-based fee adjustments from Beckett will be passed straight through to you.

Quick Recap

By sending your cards and completing the submission form, you're agreeing to everything above. If you're not cool with these terms, we sadly can't take responsibility for your cards during the grading process.

The Not-So-Fun Stuff

  • Uncollected cards: If payment isn't made after reminders, cards may be treated as “Uncollected Goods” under Australian Consumer Law after reasonable attempts to contact you.
  • Chargebacks: Slabbys reserves the right to notify PSA and BGS to seek certificate cancellation should any chargebacks occur. You will be contacted first and given the option to keep your certificate intact.
